- FUNCTION:To monitor and maintain temperature stability within a set temperature range to ensure proper system operation and safety. When the temperature reaches 325 °F, the automatic reset limit switch opens and interrupts the power supply to the heater. The temperature dropped below 280 °F and the heater resumed runnning. The manual reset limit switch opens at the 350 °F limit temperature and interrupts the power supply to the heater
