It features separate motors for profiling the bed at the head or foot, and additional motors to vertically raise it up to 18 inches from its starting position (standard height: 23 inches). This new Carers profiling bed can be raised flat for carers to wash or turn the patient, used to help the person stand like a riser recliner chair (sitting on the bed's edge), or raised while adjusted for a comfortable high position to look out of the window.
